To the wonderful and enigmatic Kirstie Clements,
Thank you for everything you have done for the Australian fashion industry in your thirteen years at Vogue Magazine. The abrupt end to your reign has shocked and devastated a lot of people, and it has become even more apparent just how many fans you have in this country, and all around the world. You pushed the industry in the right directions: you pushed boundaries, and you helped the industry become what it is in 2012. After MBFWA this year, although it’s obvious that the Aussie fashion industry still has a lot to learn, it has begun to cement itself as a dominating force in the global fashion industry. You have contributed to this in a huge way, and I’m incredibly sad to see you go. It won’t be the same without you, and I hope you continue to do something amazing in the fashion industry.
